WIP Employees Undergoing Narrative Alignment Training; Sources Confirm Mandatory Story Bank Deposits By Staff Writer, Typographical Truths Correspondent 2026 - Week 39 Reports from inside the newly integrated Work In Progmess–Blue organization suggest that employees have begun mandatory “narrative alignment” training. The process reportedly starts with pet peeves. Yes, pet peeves. Blue claims that the things that drive us slightly crazy often point directly toward the values we care about most. Apparently, complaining about people being chronically late may actually reveal that you value reliability. Hating group projects where one person does all the work may say something about fairness or accountability. Frankly, this is inconvenient information for those of us who preferred to think we were simply excellent complainers. From there, students build a Story Bank: real experiences that give them evidence of how they think, work, respond, contribute and grow. Over time, those stories become useful for essays, interviews, recommendations, scholarships, jobs and all the other places where someone eventually asks them to explain who they are. So yes, Work In Progmess is changing. We are not silencing the snark; we are putting it to work. This is the final Work In Progmess transmission before we move the conversation over to Blue. If you want to keep hearing from us, you’ll need to opt in. Marnie & Nick Find us on all the Socials! |
